East LA Meets Napa

Vino Latino y Comida Autentica!

Tonight, East LA Meets Napa at Union Station in Los Angeles. Latino-owned Wineries and Local Gourmet Mexican restaurants join together to benefit AltaMed Health Services. This event will feature the diversity of Mexican Cuisine beyond the Americanized taco or burrito. Executive Chefs from LA's finest Mexican restaurants will showcase their recipes which have been prepared for hundreds of years South of the Border.

This marriage of Mexican food and Wine shows the finer side of the cuisine which is most often paired with Beer or Margaritas.

Fine and Traditional Mexican cuisine includes staple ingredients like Maize, Mariscos (seafood), Arroz, Frijoles, Limon and Chiles--not fried foods and burritos.

I'm pleased to see this event returning for the 4th year.
